Delete your Invoixy account
In the app
- Open the Invoixy iPhone app and tap More.
- Tap Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- In the "Delete your account?" prompt, tap Delete Account to confirm.
The app tells you: "Your account will be scheduled for deletion. You have 30 days to cancel by signing back in — after that, it's permanent."
As soon as you confirm, you're signed out of Invoixy on every device. Deleting your account is done in the iPhone app; the Invoixy web app doesn't have a delete option. Want a copy of your data first? In the app, go to More → Account and, under Export, tap Export Invoices or Export Clients to save them as CSV files before you delete.
Without the app
- Email support@invoixy.com from the email address you sign in to Invoixy with, and ask us to delete your account.
- We only act on requests from the account's owner. If you chose Hide My Email with Sign in with Apple, include the relay address shown in your Apple ID settings under Sign in with Apple.
- We schedule your account for deletion, just as the app does, and reply with the date it becomes permanent.
- Until that date you can still cancel: sign back in and tap Cancel Deletion.
What's deleted
After the 30 days, the following become eligible for permanent deletion and are removed the next time our deletion process runs:
- your account and sign-in record, including your email address
- your profile and unlock status
- every business profile on your account, including the payment methods you added
- your clients
- your saved items
- your invoices, their line items and invoice numbering
- your quotes and their line items
- payment records you added to invoices
- your registered devices
- usage events recorded when your account and businesses were created
Your business logo is stored only on your iPhone, never on our servers. It's removed when you delete the app.
What's kept
Your purchase belongs to your Apple ID, not to your Invoixy account. Records of App Store purchases (product, transaction ID, amount, currency and date) are kept because we may need them for tax and accounting. We remove the record's direct link to your Invoixy account, but the underlying record may still contain the account identifier the app gave Apple at the time of purchase, which was your Invoixy user ID. Our authentication provider's security log of sign-ups and sign-ins, which includes your email address and the IP address used, is also kept after deletion. Deleted data may remain in our hosting provider's routine backups for a limited time until those backups expire.
Because the purchase stays with your Apple ID, if you later sign up for a new Invoixy account and tap Restore Purchases (More → Account), the unlock can be linked to the new account without paying again.
If you bought Invoixy on this website, the order record from our reseller Paddle is kept the same way. Restore Purchases doesn't apply to it; to move a website purchase to a new account, email support@invoixy.com.
Changed your mind?
Sign back in to Invoixy within 30 days. You'll see "Account scheduled for deletion" with the date your account will be deleted — tap Cancel Deletion to keep your account. After 30 days, the deletion becomes permanent and can't be undone.
Refunds
Deleting your account doesn't refund a purchase by itself. See our Refund Policy for how to ask for one, wherever you bought Invoixy.
See our Privacy Policy for how long we keep data, or contact Support.
